Our A Million Voices Philippines Core Team
We are quite delighted for you to get to know better the core persons ensuring the operations at our A Million Voices Philippines office.
Executive Director – Larissa Tsuboi
This Brazilian Japanese – or Brapanese, a Filipino expression tailored for this mixed ethnicity – has adopted Philippines as her second home.
Enchanted by the warm hearts of the Philippine people, she joined A Million Voices after three years living in the country. She believes her advocacy for education – aligned with her previous work experiences as a journalist, teacher and business consultant – can make a difference in the lives of those touched by AMV.
Scholarship & Admin Coordinator – Ma. Angela Mansuelto
Angela joined A Million Voices in a non-traditional way. She first came to know of the organization as a participant of its livelihood in baking in 2009. After completing the course, she joined the organization as a regular volunteer for its projects.
Today Angela serves as a Coordinator, overlooking primarily the scholarship program and various activities. She is dedicated in her work and stays committed to the vision of the organization.
Nilfa Ponce Vilbar – Social Worker
Born and raised in Hilongos, in the province of Leyte, it is Nilfa’s first time to live and work in Metro Manila.
She previously worked at Saint Joseph Boys home as an acting Community Development Worker. She also had Community-based work experience in the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) by handling three barangays in Hilongos.
Now working int the AMV team, she believes her positive attitude and teamwork skills will contribute even more to the growth of the organization.
