LIVELIHOOD

Livelihood can mean several things. It can mean preparing for a future job by increasing knowledge and self-confidence. It can mean completing training and potentially starting a small scale business. It could be anything income related, like getting a job. Our efforts are aimed at both students and parents.

ALTERNATIVE EDUCATION

Not all students that start out in school see this as their future. Some may want to pursue an alternative education through for instance vocational training or short-term courses. We encourage any kind of learning, and do not believe that everyone fits the same mold.

SKILLS DEVELOPMENT

Academic knowledge is not sufficient if you do not also believe in yourself. In order to promote self-confidence and increased self-awareness among youth, skills development courses and seminars in  areas such as leadership and life skills can make a huge difference.

PARENT TRAINING

While our primary focus may be on children and youth, parent support is just as important. By enhancing parent skills, for instance through livelihood training or English classes, they may be better equipped to initiate their own income generating activities.

INSPIRATION

In order to determine what profession you wish to seek in the future, inspiration and experience is important. A photography class may spark an unknown passion for photo taking, while getting familiarized with computer software may prepare a student for a future job requirement.
