Paint Job in Tondo Completed

On November 8 the renovation of the Manila Daycare Center in Isla Puting Bato was officially started. With 32 gallons of white base, blue and green tinting color and the necessary ‘weapons of renovation”, being paint rolls and brushes, the makeover began.

With the help of AMV volunteers, parents and our generous partner, the The Philippine Army’s 1st Community Development Company, we managed to paint the school grounds with several layers of paint before lunchtime. By looking at the end result, it truly is amazing what an impact something as simple as a few layers of paint can have. Also, the ceiling was patched up.

In addition, OSM Maritime Services Inc. donated half of the paint for the paint job, while one of the parents were kind enough to provide lunch for the hardworking helping hands.
