Completed Livelihood Course in MEAT PROCESSING

We are proud to announce that seven of our scholar parents have attended and completed a livelihood course in “Meat Processing”. During the course – which lasted from January until March – the participants learned about meat and fish preparation, costing, and sales.

The course was led by Professor Lorena Castro of PNU, whom we are grateful for initiating the course. The livelihood participants also attended a mini-seminar on “Business Set-Up” in order to fully being able to utilize their newly acquired skills in income generating activities.

This is also why the participants this coming Saturday will be receiving their own start-up package – to further assist them in securing a steady income. The packages will consist of cooking utensils and ingredients, and the participants will continue to attend weekly evaluation meetings to further steer the business ventures in the direction towards success.

Congratulations to Mrs Buslon, Mrs Cabaltierra, Mrs Catalo, Mrs Mansuelto, Mrs Dela Pena, Mrs Su-Ay and Mrs Vecina!
