Team Building Outing

Team building may be defined as “the use of different types of team interventions that are aimed at enhancing social relations and clarifying team members’ roles, as well as solving task and interpersonal problems that affect team functioning”. It is very often used in a corporate setting, but is just as important in any other setting where a group of people are working together towards a goal.

This is why team building is also important for the A Million Voices scholars and their parents. At the end of May, we wish to hold a team building activity that will strengthen the bond between child and parent, between the scholars, between the parents, and between scholars/parents and A Million Voices. During the month of April we have been holding evaluation session together with our beneficiaries to hear their voices, and in the weeks leading up to the team building activity we will be hosting weekly activities aimed at boosting self-confidence.

By providing the venue for team building, we aim at ensuring a strengthening of the collaboration within and between the scholars and parents as we reach the start of a new school year.

How does it work?

If you would like to join in and sponsor the team building participation of a scholar/parent:

Note that the amount for one person is NOK 100 through bank transfer and NOK 106 through Paypal (due to fees deducted Paypal). For USD, this is equivalent to USD 14.

The donation will cover any entrance fees to the team building venue, team building activities, meals for a full-day, and transportation.
